Waveland Ventures wholly-owned subsidiary, Colorado Regional Center, has been approved by the United States Citizenship & Immigration Service Center (USCIS) to operate an EB-5 Regional Center for the entire State of Colorado

Investor does not invest directly in their own enterprise but into the Regional Center.

There are approximately 100 approved Regional Centers in the United States.

Priority given to Targeted Employment Areas (TEA) or projects in cities with populations of under 20,000, or an unemployment rate 50% higher than the national average.
A Regional Center is a private or public entity that has received approval from the Federal Government to invest in qualifying projects within a defined geography.

Area may be as small as a single project or as large as an entire State.

Enables the pooling of capital to reduce risk and fund larger projects.
EB5 provides a pathway to citizenship for foreign investors that wish to participate in the program.

A foreign investor has the ability to invest $500,000 in a qualified Regional Center (all Regional Centers must receive formal Federal approval), and as long as 10 jobs are created obtain a permanent green card.
Investment must create a new Commercial Enterprise:

Creation of a new business.

Purchase of an existing business, that further entails restructuring/rehab so that a new commercial enterprise results.

Expansion of an existing business so that there is a substantial change in the net worth of the business and the number of employees.

Typical foreign investor is highly educated, a successful business executive or entrepreneur, and defined as an Accredited Investor by the standards of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
