New Market Tax Credits
Waveland works with developers of commercial real estate in low and moderate income areas of the United States as both advisor and principal. In 2004, Waveland formed a partnership with Legacy Bancorp, Inc., Legacy Waveland Advisors, that provides New Market Tax Credit investment advisory services to the Wisconsin Community Development Legacy Fund (“WCDLF”). WCDLF is a joint venture between Legacy Bancorp, and the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (www.wheda.com). Formed in 2004, Legacy Waveland Advisors provides investment advisory services to the Wisconsin Community Development Legacy Fund, one of the largest allocates of New Market Tax Credits in the United States.
